Baja Blues Boys – www.bajabluesboys.com

All aboard this is going to be a smooth ride through the rolling hills of traditional Delta and Ragtime Blues to modern Chicago and Blues-Rock.

Tim Atkins, Guitar, Vocals  “I remember the first time I ever heard the Blues. I was seven years old. My Father brought home a Pete Fountain album "Live at the Bateau Lounge". The instrumentation was Clarinet, stand-up bass, piano and drums. During the second verse of the solo on "Nobody Knows The Trouble I See ', Pete Fountain hits and holds this long, wailing note and when he resolves it the audience reacts audibly and I found myself involuntarily joining them. I didn't know exactly what that was. I asked my Father and he told me "That's The Blues, boy. And that's the bluest note you'll ever hear".

Andre Perreault Harmonica, Vocals
How did I get into the Blues? The AM radio played the Rolling Stones. Yes, in the beginning the Rolling Stones were a Blues band! At the record store I asked if there was any more of that Blues-sound stuff, you know like the Rolling Stones. "Try Muddy Waters," I was told. I got a Muddy album and I was gone. It was Blues, Blues, Blues for me. To this day; to my dying day! My philosophy on this stuff, keep it simple, keep it fun. Hope you enjoy us.
